“There was something unusual about the men sitting at the void deck,” thought Ali Bubba as he advanced towards them. “That must be the snake’s men my friends asked me to spy,” he thought to himself as he inched forward step by step. Ali Bubba was a short lad for a sixteen year old. He has a blunt nose sharp sad looking eyes and thick hair. Has he got closer he saw a suitcase in the middle of the table. The men were talking in whispers. From this Ali Bubba deduced that they were talking about the suitcase. He hid behind one of the walls in the void deck straining to hear what they were saying.

These men were the gang members of the snake their leader. They were discussing about the suitcase that Ali Bubba and his friends had stolen the other day. He had been sent here to spy on them to see if they alleged their gang called “The Only Hope.” He was the shortest of them so he was sent as they thought he could slip off without being noticed.

He heard a creaking sound followed by an exclamation and a loud hush. “They must have opened the suitcase. I think there is something really good in it!” he thought to himself. He could not stop the temptation to take a peek so he turned and took a quick glance. Alas, the glance was not quick enough one of the men sitting there found him. “Hey kid!! Come here what do you think you are doing by hiding behind and listening?” rang out a loud and rough voice. Hearing this he started to feel panicky and the first thing that came to his mind was to run. He took off as fast has he could he could hear the footsteps of the men behind him.

He took a sharp turn and ran towards his gang who were waiting nearby in another void deck. He is an orphan who had been abandoned by his guardians when he was just a child they left him beside a rubbish bin. He has no knowledge about them. He survived by eating all kinds of rubbish that he could scavenge. Many might have thought that he will not survive but he did. It was a miracle. When Ali Bubba joined his gang he joined them with a hope of a better life. “Do you have any news?” one of the members asked. “Yes! They are coming!” he said as loud footsteps could be heard getting closer and closer the boys prepared to face the challenge. They had to fight.

When the men came and saw the suitcase they at once knew who stole. At first one of the men kindly asked us to hand it over. There was nothing but silence. They boys got their weapons such as broken glass and other dangerous materials. The men themselves had a lot of weapons such as knives and other kinds of sharp object. There was silence at first. Then there was a loud roar as the boys charged forward at the men and started attack each other. There were a lot of screams and shouts. No one dared to go near the group. They still continued to fight even after the police came and stop them. The group could not be stopped by ordinary police so the anti-riot police came in a van.

A passerby probably might have called them. They group was led by the police those who were injured were brought to hospital by an ambulance that followed. Sadly, Ali Bubba died at the spot. It is a sad thing that Ali Bubba had been suffering in this new world were people were full of hatred, greed and no care for others. Hope he has a better life in his next life.
